In addition to the friendly call center your DriveSure customers have had access to for some time, they can now also request roadside assistance through a fully digital experience on their smartphone that makes getting help super simple in their time of need.

 

Here’s How It Works:

1. Your CUstomers Each Get a Unique QR Code

We’ve modified the service reminder windshield sticker you provide to your customers to include a scannable QR code that’s unique to each customer. Printing the sticker will continue to be as easy as ever, using the same process you’re used to.

2. CUSTOMERS Scan for assistance

Whenever a customer needs to request roadside assistance, they simply scan the QR code on the sticker with their smartphone camera.

As an added bonus, they can also scan this code to schedule service with your dealership as long as you offer online scheduling options.

3. CUSTOMERS get validated and request help

After scanning the code, a personalized webpage will appear where vehicle owners can tap a button to request help and select the type of assistance they need. The system will automatically check to ensure their DriveSure benefits are still active. Best of all, the customer’s VIN and location will automatically be passed to the dispatch center, so they will no longer need to look up and provide vehicle information or explain where they’re located.

4. CUSTOMERS Stay Informed While Waiting

Like modern ride share and food delivery apps, your customers will be able to track the status and location of their service truck so that they aren’t left wondering while they wait.

5. The Vehicle gets towed to your dealership

As always with our dealer-loyal roadside assistance, any customer that requests a tow from within 25 miles of your dealership will have their vehicle taken directly to your service department. This ensures they get a high-quality repair from people they trust while helping to increase revenue and retention for your dealership.
